See What Our Friends at Albany Bistro are Doing
For the last two years, our friends at Albany Bistro have been at the forefront of locally sourced produce for their restaurant in SE Decatur. They want to continue to support local agriculture by using locally grown produce at their restaurant, doing educational programs, cooking demonstrations, and events at local farms.  Chef Jakob has been a great friend to the Farmers Market.  Find out more about Albany Bistro's latest plans by visiting this site:
Would You Like to Volunteer at the Farmers Market?
The festivals are done for 2014, but please keep us in mind for volunteer service hours in 2015.  We generally have 4 festivals a year and volunteers can earn 4.5 volunteer hours at a farmers market festival.  We cannot do our festivals without our volunteers.  We use the Volunteer Center of Morgan County to help with our volunteer needs.  You can register as a volunteer on their website and it will also keep track of your volunteer service hours automatically.
